$1 Reserve
Most of our cars are auctioned at $1 reserve. We do not offer
buy-now prices for $1 reserve cars. We do not withdraw cars from auction
at any stage, and we do not offer buy-now prices. There is no opportunity
to buy after the auction, as the winning bidder is the owner of the
vehicle.
Lowest Prices
oval.co.nz is able to sell cars at some of New Zealand's
lowest prices. This is because we do not have the expense of a car
yard and we do not employ auctioneers, sales or service people. We
also operate on large volumes.
This means we do not offer all the service that a retail sales yard
might offer. So people who are looking for a quality car at a great
price won't get a better deal than with oval.co.nz. But
people who are looking for a full-service car operation may prefer
to look elsewhere. |

Our Vehicles
On arrival from Japan all our cars are inspected by LTSA Transport Agency (LTSA). It is a government requirement that all vehicles
newly-imported to New Zealand are certified as road worthy by LTSA.
Cars cannot be registered without passing all the LTSA requirements
(see LTSA Certified). A Warrant of
Fitness is also issued at this stage.
oval.co.nz makes no attempt to hide any defects that a car
may have. Of course it has been certified for road-worthiness and
safety by LTSA, but being a second-hand car may have scrapes and scratches
that are normal for a used vehicle. These will be outlined on the
car listing details. |
